Mount Hermon is the highest elevation in Israel that arises to 2814 meters above sea level, and it is located on the border between Syria and Lebanon.
 
The mountain has a seasonal snow, which covers its top most of the year days, especially in winter time.
The water that melts from the snow form three rivers and some strings. The strings and the rivers merge into the Jordan River.
