It happens. You get tired of the civilization; you want to be in this situation when you don't sleep between the decorated walls of your hotel room or guest house, when you just need to get together with nature. When it is happening and you start to plan the trip in nature's arms, be sure there are some important things to know about the place you are heading to, like where are you getting, what you have to take care of in advance and what you need to add to your equipment list. If you choose to camp in an arranged camping parking lot, you should find out where there a toilet, drinking fountain, hot watered showers, a mini market and basically if there is an electric light.
Another important thing you need to find out is the capacity of the camping area and if it is able to contain all the campers or you should make a reservation in advance.
You should also check if the ground is made of grass, sand or maybe concrete. It is important to check which activities and attractions the site is offering and if the participation is included in the entrance fee.
If you have decided to go with it to the end and find a quiet place to yourself in the wilderness and just get arranged there by your independent self, you should first make sure the site is not privet, a fire zone of the army or belongs to some settlement. There is also a prohibition in the law to camp in some of the beaches in the country. The site operates guest's rooms and bungalows in addition to camping with tents.
Ha'maayan This Parking place is located in the Hatzbani river area, next to the River Snir reserve and Baruch Lake. In addition to the tents camping with lighting, the campers can use the grassy areas, the pool between the rocks, sitting areas, barbeque place, toilets and hot watered showers, kiosk, restaurant, shadowed areas and a playground for children. The fee is 40 shekels.
Dag al Ha'Dan This parking place is filled with pecan trees, on the Htsbani River, next to the Beit Hilel intersection. The site offers camping with tents, toilets and showers with hot water, kiosk, lighting, tables and barbeque areas. The fee is 45 shekels.
Kfar Blum The Kfar Blum Kayaks is considered a camping area located north to the Kfar Blum Kibutz Next to the Jordan River. The site suggests camping with tents and you can find there toilets, hot watered showers, tables and a kiosk. The fee is 40 shekels.
Around the Kinneret Dugit Beach The beach is located on the Kinneret bank which covered with grassy areas and eucalyptus groves. It is offering kiosk that operates 24 hours a day, toilets and showers. More attractive activities you can find in the water park, Luna Gal, which is located next to the beach. The fee for a car is 50 shekels.
Hukuk Beach In the west bank of the Kinneret, in the Hukuk Beach where there are two parking for camping. These two are offering the essential services for campers among them there are toilets, showers, lighting, electricity, kiosk, barbeque areas, grassy areas and shadowed areas. Only one of the two parking places is allowing camping with tents and is capable of containing up to 1000 campers. The fee for a car is 85 shekels for 24 hours.
Kfar Nahum Beach This is an unauthorized beach on the Kinneret bank, with a camping spot next to the archeological site, which is located near by. The site is providing grassy areas, night lighting with no electricity, kiosk, shady areas, toilets and showers. The fee is 70 shekels per car during the night hours and 50 shekels per car during the day time.
The Jordan Beach This is an unauthorized beach which is located next to the Jordanit site, in the meeting point of the Kinneret with the Jordan River. The place is characterized with a shadowed area of a Eucalyptus Grove. In addition there is a huge area for camping with tents, a playground for kids, toilets and hot watered showers, lighting, tables and benches. All of the above is offered in exchange for a fee of 70 shekels per car.
The Western Galilee and the Costal Plain The Monport The Western Galilee area is offering the Monport Ranch, in the heart of the Goren Park. Beside the view and the closeness to the tracks of Cziv Rover, you can also find a place to camp with tents in the area, or just sleep on mattresses, on the grass or wherever you feel like underneath the stars. The site is offering lighting, barbeque area, toilets and showers. The fee is 50 shekels per person.
Dor Beach Toilets and showers, two restaurants, kayaks club, chairs, tables, electricity connections, cool storage, children pool and camping with tents on a grassy area. All these are suggested at the Dor Beach, which is an authorized swimming beach with swimming bays, shallow water and shadowed areas. The fee is 70 shekels per person.
South The National Park of Ashkelon This National Park is giving its visitors an authorized beach with tables, benches and grassy areas. The place is available for camping with tents and providing lighting, toilets and showers. One of the attractions in the Park is the Archeological site. The fee is 23 shekels per person.
Biankini This beach is located next to Kaliya, on the Siesta beach in The Dead Sea and operates as a parking lot for camping at night time. In addition to the toilets and showers, espresso bar and restaurant, the place operates a pub with a dancing floor. There's an option for sleeping in tents with all the needed camping services. The fee is 70 shekels per person for 24 hours.
Tel Arad The Han parking place is located in the national park of Tel Arad, which provides a Kna'anic atmosphere. You can enjoy mattresses that the site offers its visitors, barbeque spots, toilets, hot watered showers and breakfast. The fee is 45 shekels per person.
Mitzpe Ramon The field school in mount Negev is offering camping in the school territory. The area is fenced, secured and available for camping with tents. The place includes toilets, showers and breakfast with extra payment. The fee per person is 15 shekels.
The Antelope Ranch In the north to the Tzofar settlement on the Arava road, operates an Antelope Ranch, with sulfur pools, free Antelope and peacock. The place is offering cabins for the night, night lighting, kiosk, toilets, showers, barbeque area and playground for children. The fee is 60 shekels per person and 450 shekels for a couple in a cabin.
Hi Bar 35 kilometers north to Eilat there's the Hi Bar site of Yotveta. Among others the place offers different activities in the reserve, such as tours in the sunset or sunrise and bird watching. In addition there is a special area for camping at night, an arranged place for cooking, shadowed areas, tables, benches, toilets and showers. The fee is 15 shekels per person.
Eilat Field School This site is offering camping in front of the Almog beach, in the field school area, where you can camp with tents. Among the camping services the site is offering there are also toilets, showers, lighting, shadowed areas and electricity connections. The fee per person is 30 shekels.
